GE Additive's Arcam EBM metal 3D printing technology harnessed for knee implant parts

Italian medical implant manufacturer Rejoint is using GE Additive’s Electron Beam Melting (EBM) technology to additively manufacture knee implants. The company has partnered an Arcam EBM Q10plus system with artificial intelligence (AI) to produce customized parts, such as tibial plates and femoral condyles, for replacement knee surgeries.
