College of Charleston cites industry demand, gets approval for engineering major

A new engineering program recently approved for the College of Charleston was specifically designed with companies like Bosch and Boeing in mind. The systems engineering program will be the only one in the state and one of a few nationwide, according to Sebastian van Delden, the interim dean of the school of sciences and mathematics.
